In BOH new On Trend series, we’re asking creators to share their current favorite finds.

After a particularly stormy year, design enthusiasts are focusing their attention on a bluer sky to come. Pale blue fabrics and decor pieces are more popular than ever – Etsy reported a 39% increase in searches for sky blue items before declaring it Color of the Year 2021. “Perfect light blue hues can refresh a scheme of reds and warmer tones, enhance a monochrome collection of blues and add a touch of softness to all neutrals ”, designer Lauren Lowe recount Home affairs. “I use sky blue as a neutral, because every color works with the sky! “

Inspired, we asked Lowe and two other designers—Jean Liu and Maggie Griffon– to each of us tell us his three favorite pieces in sky blue shades, as well as ideas for using them at home.
