Megahold Magnetic Collection

They say: A new line of lashes from Ardell featuring “no magnet” magnetic technology. The lightweight false eyelashes, which contain vegan lash fibers, adhere via “invisible magnetic lash strips” using a special adhesive.

We say: Like most strip lashes, our tester found the application process to take some getting used to. But, once mastered, she found the application easy – apply liner, then lashes and that’s it – and she was happy with the overall look and wear.

Hermes

Rouge Hermès Limited Edition

They say: A trio of new lipstick shades for Spring/Summer 2022 inspired by “an artist’s garden celebrates the harmony between the sky, the sun and the sparkling water of an early spring morning”. Presented in refillable tubes designed by Pierre Hardy, the collection includes Orange Capucine, Beige d’Eau and Rose Nymphéa.

We say: These luxurious lipsticks provide a wearable wash of color that’s perfect for the season. The formulas add a kiss of shine to the lips. Our tester’s favorite shade was Beige d’Eau, a “sunny beige” that seemed to complement the natural lip color perfectly.

Phillips

Sonicare Power Flosser 3000 Cordless

They say: A cordless “mouth irrigator” that promises to remove up to 99.9% of plaque. Featuring two flossing modes and three intensities, the device uses pulse wave technology to clean teeth in 60 seconds.

We say: New to water flossers, our tester was impressed with how clean her teeth were after use. The wireless device is user-friendly with minimal configuration. Although she found that the water reservoir needed to be filled to mid-mouth, the ease of use and overall performance of the product made it a substitute for traditional dental floss.
