Lanvin x PFW SS23 collection by Bruno Sialelli

As Paris Fashion Week draws to a close, many trends have been spotted on the catwalks throughout the season, and one, in particular, has been menswear. Lanvin’s Spring/Summer 2023 showcase featured a sophisticated, no-frills collection that emphasized clean lines and clean cuts.

Although Lanvin’s creative director, Bruno Sialelli, presented menswear and womenswear on the catwalk, a large majority of the collection featured sleek one-button suits in a neutral color palette, as well as fabrications. shiny in satin and silk.

The length of the pants comes right down to the bottom of the round toe leather dress shoes for men and the split front leather ankle boots for women. The denim was sleek and cut in a dark indigo format with a full leg and front pleat.

The middle of the collection provided bold pops of color, in blue, green and orange (in the form of shiny leather jackets). Graphic tees with images of a clear shopping bag full of peaches and a new mesh trainer, in an emerald green colourway (with a black rubber outsole), were also introduced to the collection.

Other standouts included a shimmering sheer organza men’s suit worn elegantly under a white overcoat, followed by a chain of women’s sheer fabric bucket hats on the runway.

In other fashion week news, Ib Kamara’s Off-White™ debut defied societal notions for SS23.
