2022 Atlanta Falcons opponents: full roster at end of season, ahead of schedule release

the Atlanta Falcons have had a somewhat difficult 2021 season in Arthur Smith’s first year at the helm. The team will definitely end the season with a loss record, even with a win on Sunday. They have an aging quarterback in Matt Ryan and one of the worst defenses in the NFL.

Still, there’s reason to be optimistic heading into 2022. The Falcons will likely stay with Ryan until 2022, as the QB Draft class isn’t too impressive. But rookie tight end Kyle Pitts has been fantastic this season, racking up over 1,000 yards in the air. He only has one touchdown, but if he maintains his production, he will definitely touch more often in the future. The team also have Swiss Army Knife Cordarrelle Patterson who can do just about anything on the offensive end of the ball and has well over 1,000 total yards this season and 11 total TDs.

The Falcons will face their NFC South Division opponents six times, half at home and half on the road. In addition, they draw against the four teams of the AFC North and the NFC West. Their 17th game will be against the AFC West team who finished in the same position as them.
